Especially in high density aquaculture, high dissolved oxygen is maintained all the time. Once dissolved oxygen is insufficient, it will produce quite serious consequences.

How to increase the dissolved oxygen in water body effectively, reduce energy consumption and improve the dissolved oxygen efficiency in unit water body. It is the ideal that aquatic product practitioners have been pursuing assiduously. At present, there are several common ways of increasing oxygen in   the market:
1. Water car aerator
This is the most common. General tutang culture, most are adopted in this way. A water wheel lifts water close to the surface into the air. This increases the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water. However, this method only fixed the water cart on the surface of the pond, and had a better effect on the water on the surface of the pond, while the water at the bottom of the pond did not form effective convection. Dissolved oxygen is not improved. And the bottom of the pond is often where fish droppings are most concentrated. In the absence of oxygen, organic matter in fish faeces breaks down into harmful substances such as toxic hydrogen sulfide. These substances are soluble in water. When the concentration of hydrogen sulfide and other substances in the water accumulates to a certain extent, it will produce fatal toxicity to the fish and shrimp in the water.


2. Fan aeration stone (nano aeration tube)
Small fan pressure is small, only applicable to shallow water. Generally, the water depth is not more than 80cm; Large farms will use roots fans. Roots fan pressure is large, the air output is not small. For ordinary outdoor fish ponds, relatively large electricity consumption. And roots fan is generally used with nano aerator. The diameter of the gas in the water is about 2-3mm after the nanometer aeration tube is aerated. Under the action of buoyancy, bubbles will quickly surface.
We know that. According to common knowledge of physics, the dissolution efficiency of gas in liquid is related to the following factors: gas saturation solubility, bubble diameter, liquid pressure, contact time, etc. Under aquatic conditions, the saturation solubility and liquid pressure of oxygen in water are basically fixed, so the factors that affect the dissolution efficiency of oxygen in water are the bubble diameter and contact time. The larger the bubble's diameter, the greater the buoyancy it experiences in the water. So there's this relationship.
Under the condition that the total gas volume remains unchanged, the smaller the bubble diameter is, the larger the total contact area between gas and liquid will be, and the higher the dissolution efficiency will be. Since the oxygen content in the air is only 21%, and the bubbles have short contact time with water, the effect of adding oxygen to the water through nano aeration tube is relatively limited.


3. Jet oxygenation and oxygen cone
Jet aeration is a kind of gas-liquid mixing mode. Through the venturi tube, the liquid is mixed with oxygen to form bubbles. Under the condition of fresh water, the diameter of bubbles obtained by efflux is generally 1.5-3mm. Under seawater conditions, bubble diameter is generally more than 1mm. The jet should be connected to the booster pump. Therefore, it also consumes electricity. The aeration cone can be connected behind the jet. The aeration cone is a glass reinforced plastic tank with a small top and a large bottom. When the velocity of water flow decreases, the buoyancy of bubbles gradually exceeds the impact force of water flow and tends to be suspended in the cone. That increases the amount of time it spends in the water. This increases the solubility of oxygen in water.


But if the bubbles continue to enter the oxygen cone, the bubbles in the oxygen cone will dissolve into large bubbles. It becomes a drag on the flow. The ideal model of the oxygen cone would be broken. You're going to be less efficient at dissolving oxygen. If the gas going into the oxygen cone is pure oxygen. It would be a huge waste of pure oxygen. Therefore, the oxygen cone in use, there will be certain technical requirements.
4. The mistake of pure oxygen increasing oxygen
Many people use the above methods to increase oxygen in aquaculture water, but the results are often not satisfactory. The bubbles are between 1 and 3mm in diameter, and most of the pure oxygen spills out quickly, resulting in a lot of waste. At the same time, frequent replacement of oxygen cylinders also leads to a large increase in labor costs.
